Who are we?
Founded 1998, MELODY (Music Enriching the Lives of Developing Youth) is a volunteer organization founded and led by students at Stanford University. MELODY volunteers, who are Stanford students (music majors and non-majors) with robust musical backgrounds, provide free weekly private piano lessons to low-income students in the community.
Due to Stanford's COVID-19 restrictions, piano lessons are currently only offered on Zoom. We are hoping to offer in-person lessons on Stanford's campus starting in January, pending relaxation of university restrictions.
